What is OPeN?

The Outcomes in Pediatric Neurosciences (OPeN) is the working name of a team that supports pediatric neuroscience investigators at The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School as they further scientific knowledge in their unique disciplines. Established in fall of 2020, the OPeN team has supported numerous studies and projects and helps create translatable outcomes for pediatric neurosciences. With offices at the Specialty Pavilion on the Dell Children’s Medical Center campus, we work closely with clinical investigators in pediatric neurology, neurosurgery, neuropsychology, neuro-ophthalmology, and physical medicine and rehabilitation as they initiate:

  • Clinical Trials
  • Clinical Research Projects
  • PI-Initiated Non-Sponsored Study
  • Registries, Databases, and Retrospective Reviews
  • Case Study/Case Report (≤3 Cases)
