The Photography & Media Area is located on the second floor of the Art Building on the main campus of The University of Texas at Austin. It features a color-managed computer lab, wet darkroom lab with 4×5 enlargers, a finishing area, lighting studio, and seminar room. Available equipment includes film and digital SLRs, medium- and large-format cameras, and studio lighting kits. All undergraduate students enrolled in Photography courses, as well as Photography graduate students, are welcome to use the lab during open hours.

Equipment for Checkout
Students currently enrolled in Photography courses can check out equipment for up to 7 days through their class TA. Each student must sign a Conditions of Checkout Agreement and abide by the Late Return Policy.
