Empowering Alzheimer’s Patients to Discover Treatments

Professor Jon Pierce gave a lecture on his personal connection to Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) at the university’s annual Explore UT event. Students learned about this neuroscientist’s novel approach to researching the disease that involves tiny worms and the people who may find themselves most at risk of developing AD.
