Meet the Team
Researcher
Lauretta Reeves, Ph.D. Lauretta is an Associate Professor of Instruction in the Department of Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research interests are in how people represent concepts (including animate vs. inanimate objects, mathematical concepts) and how conceptual knowledge interfaces with language. One of her recent interests is the dynamics of relationships that have been affected by infidelity.
Research Assistants
Roxanne Bravo, Undergraduate. Roxanne is a third-year B.A. Psychology major pursuing a pre-health professions certificate and Spanish for medical professions certificate. She aims to serve as a healthcare worker for vulnerable populations. Her recent interests include volunteering at the AARC to help educate older adults with their technology and finding other volunteer opportunities to practice Spanish. Before she graduates, she wants to hold a music performance on stage with her friends.
Liam Gerber
Esther Gurau, Alumni. Esther is a psychology graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. She is currently applying to graduate programs to pursue clinical/counseling psychology, with a special interest in trauma and how it affects individuals’ lives. She enjoys reading and writing, and she loves trying new hobbies.
Olivia McCauley, Undergraduate. Olivia is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Law, Justice, and Society. She is interested in attending law school where she hopes to study business and family law.
Saja Naser, Alumi. Saja holds a Bachelors of Science Psychology degree with a minor in Social and Behavioral Sciences. She is interested in political issues, especially politics in the Middle East. She is currently working as a Medical Education Program coordinator at a Medical technology company. Outside of the lab and work, she enjoys reading, drawing and playing billiards.
