The BiG Reseach Group is based in the Fariborz Maseeh Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.
At BiG, our work is centered around geotechnical and environmental engineering. Our collective areas of expertise include biogeotechnics, erosion of soils, geo-energy, living building materials and carbon sequestration. We believe that our interests and expertise reflect our commitment to innovative and sustainable solutions to pressing environmental challenges.
