Welcome to UT-ACE lab! Our research is at the intersection of integrated circuits and systems, EM/antennas, and packaging for the next-generation wireless communication, sensing and imaging applications. We aim to invent new circuit topologies/theories and exploit a holistic co-design approach across system stacks (e.g., CMOS+X) to address the fundamental challenges faced by today’s electronic circuits and systems.
UT-ACE’s first chip accepted to ISSCC2025!
Undergrad researcher Sunny is awarded the prestigious 2024 IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society (MTT-S) Undergraduate Scholarship.
Welcome Yidong and Song Hang aboard as PhD students!
Paper accepted at ICCAD’24!
Dr. Li gave a workshop talk on Co-Design Techniques of mm-Wave Circuits with Electromagnetics and Radiation at the IEEE RFIC/IMS 2023.
We are hiring!
We have multiple openings for self-motivated and creative Ph.D. students who are interested in analog/mixed-signal/RF integrated circuits (prior experience on tapeout is a plus). Please contact Dr. Li with your CV and transcripts, and follow the admission guidelines for UT-Austin ECE program (indicate Integrated Circuits and Systems, i.e., ICS, as your interest area and mention my name in your application).
We also welcome undergrad researchers, post-docs, and visiting scholars. Please contact Dr. Li directly.
