Duke TIP is currently seeking Registered Nurses to serve as Site Nurses for our Summer Studies and CRISIS programs during June and July 2019.
Health and Wellness positions focus on the health and well-being of students attending our programs and under our care. Each of our program sites maintains its own student health and wellness team. This on-site team oversees the daily prescription and over-the-counter medications students have brought with them; provides minor medical care for illnesses and injuries; acts as liaison with nearby clinics, physician’s offices and hospitals in emergencies; and provides psychological support as needed. Because gifted students have unique social and emotional needs, experience in treating high achievers is prized and thorough training is provided to staff working with our students.
