Juuso Valimaki Torn ACL

The Calgary Flames announced on August 12th that hockey defenseman Juuso Valimaki tore his right ACL during an offseason training session and will have surgery to reconstruct it. Valimaki made his Flames debut this past season with one goal and three points in 24 games, but the ACL surgery will put him out for the start of the 2019-20 NHL season and possibly beyond.
