About the Survey
The State and Local Politics Survey at the University of Texas at Austin seeks to understand the opinions and decision-making of various people who play key roles in state and local politics in the United States — elected officials, voters, government workers, and members of the news media. Each wave of the survey is focused on one (or more) of these groups and asks different questions to better understand them and the role they play in state and local democracy.
