Innovative and effective smart city initiatives must be aimed at addressing community problems with active participation from a broad group of stakeholders. The presentation describes an emerging innovation ecosystem being developed in San Antonio though the City of San Antonio R&D League and its partners including UTSA. An example of the type of resources and tools needed to advance smart city initiatives will be presented.
