Margaret Liu is a sophomore at The University of Texas at Austin, where she is majoring in Geography with a strong focus on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and holds a Certificate in Applied Statistics. Her academic journey is driven by a deep curiosity for the practical applications of GIS and its role in understanding complex geographical phenomena. Margaret’s passion lies in exploring the intersection of geography and data analytics, leveraging her skills in ArcGIS products and statistical analysis to contribute to meaningful research projects.

Within her research areas, Margaret Liu aims to tackle real-world challenges by harnessing the power of GIS.
