Tigris Mendez is an Intern working alongside PhD Student and UI Lab Researcher Seung Jun Choi , performing GIS and Visualization tasks. With a background in analytics and economics, Tigris Mendez has developed a deep fascination for uncovering hidden patterns and insights within data. He firmly believes that in the world of data science, solutions rarely come in black and white; they often involve trade-offs with their unique set of advantages and disadvantages. Guided by their pursuit of data-driven excellence, Tigris Mendez is committed to continuously refining his skills and approaches to drive impactful insights for organizations, regardless of their size.

Tigris Mendez’s ultimate career and personal objectives revolve around becoming a proficient Data Scientist, equipped with the expertise to extract valuable insights from data, guide data-driven decisions, and create beautiful visualizations.
