WeTeach_CS Announces 2018 Change Maker and Mini-Grand Award Recipients during Summit #wtcs2018
Closing out the first day of the 2018 WeTeach_CS Summit, participants gathered for what has now become a tradition among the Texas CS education community, the awarding of the WeTeach_CS Change Maker and Mini-Grant Awards. Sponsored by Oracle Academy and Texas Instruments, the awards are not only a way to recognize the dedication and vision of exceptional teachers, but also to inspire the community as a whole to keep working for improved and expanded CS education in Texas. This year, WeTeach_CS presented eight teachers with Mini-Grant Awards, eight teachers with Change Maker Awards, and for the first time recognized two exceptional administrators with Change Maker Awards of their own.
