Singer-songwriter, Darden Smith, and Positive Psychology Educator, Mary Judd, will describe how they designed a nationally-recognized program for Veterans based on what they each love to do: write songs and elevate people’s strengths. Using stories, photos, and song samples from their SongwritingWith:Soldiers retreats, the UT graduates will demonstrate how tapping into their own creativity and passions has greatly impacted the lives of others — and improved their own, too.
