Who We Are:

Mission Statement

The mission of the Association of Research Administrators is to:

• Build a campus-wide network of research administrators
• Facilitate the exchange of information across campus
• Explore strategies to improve research administration
• Provide professional development opportunities

Vision

To unite and strengthen research administration at The University of Texas at Austin.

Short Terms Goals

• Conduct monthly professional meetings with knowledgeable speakers and enthusiastic discussion
• Share resources and provide a Q&A dialogue between members
• Establish a campus resource network

How to Get Involved:

• Attend the monthly membership meetings (4^th Tuesday of the month)
• Share your templates and resources with the ARA community (contact: Communications Team)
• Be a contact for the Resource Network Initiative (contact: Resource & Professional Development Committee)
• Join a Committee (Committee Information)
• Be a speaker or co-presenter (contact: Resource & Professional Development Committee)
• Run for an elected committee chair position
• Attend a networking event!
