Mission Statement
The mission of the Association of Research Administrators is to:
- Build a campus-wide network of research administrators
- Facilitate the exchange of information across campus
- Explore strategies to improve research administration
- Provide professional development opportunities
Vision
To unite and strengthen research administration at The University of Texas at Austin.
Short Terms Goals
- Conduct monthly professional meetings with knowledgeable speakers and enthusiastic discussion
- Share resources and provide a Q&A dialogue between members
- Establish a campus resource network
How to Get Involved:
- Attend the monthly membership meetings (4th Tuesday of the month)
- Share your templates and resources with the ARA community (contact: Communications Team)
- Be a contact for the Resource Network Initiative (contact: Resource & Professional Development Committee)
- Join a Committee (Committee Information)
- Be a speaker or co-presenter (contact: Resource & Professional Development Committee)
- Run for an elected committee chair position
- Attend a networking event!
