We are located at the University of Texas at Austin, in the Sarah M. and Charles E. Seay (SEA) building, which is at the corner of Dean Keeton and Speedway.
If you’re entering an address into a navigation system (Google Maps), please input the following address: “2606 Speedway, Austin, TX 78712.” This will take you directly to the front of the Children’s Research Center entrance.
Parking is directly in front of the Children’s Research Center entrance on Speedway street. Someone will be waiting outside for your arrival, and you will receive a parking permit then.
Routes on Capital Metro Buses
The CRC is also accessible using public transportation. You will find specific Capital Metro bus stop locations and prices, along with driving directions, below.
- The stop for bus 5 northbound from South Austin is east of Speedway on Dean Keeton.
- The stop for bus 7 is on the northwest corner of San Jacinto and Dean Keeton.
- The stop for bus 21 is on Dean Keeton.
- The stop for bus 22 is on the northeast corner of Speedway and Dean Keeton.
Children 5 and younger, accompanied by an adult, ride free. Qualified riders can also apply for a reduced fare ID card to receive a half-price fare.
