Of course, the most common dosage options include these three. However, in addition to them, you can also encounter such dosages as 75, 200 and even (very rarely) 400 mg. They can confuse inexperienced consumers – after all, you will never find in any instructions that it is allowed to take more than 100 mg of Sildenafil per day. Indeed, you shouldn’t try to exceed the recommended dosage. These additional forms of release (they often carry names like Viagra Super Plus or Sildenafil Extra) imply that the consumer divides one pill into two or four parts. This results in significant savings. As for the 75 mg version, of course, such a pill can be taken whole, it is an intermediate option between 50 mg and the maximum daily dosage.

If we talk about other forms of release of generic Viagra, other than pills, that is, sachets with gel or soft tablets for chewing or dissolving in the oral cavity, in the vast majority of cases, the choice is limited to the same 100, 50 and 25 mg of Sildenafil. The reason for this is that it would be extremely difficult for the consumer to divide a dose of medicine into two or more portions.

How To Take Generic Viagra Properly?

The most important thing when taking any medicine, including Viagra, is to strictly follow the instructions for use. First of all, don’t exceed the recommended dosage. If you have a doctor’s prescription and your doctor hasn’t recommended that you take the maximum 100 mg, it’s best to heed his words. This should be especially taken into account by men with mild forms of heart failure or hypertension, who can take Viagra, but only in dosages of 50 or 25 mg. If you overdo it with the drug in pursuit of excellent potency, you can seriously harm your cardiovascular system and no longer be able to take any dosages of Viagra at all.

Secondly, it makes no sense take micro-doses of Viagra either, for example, to divide a 25 mg pill into four parts. There will be no effect from such a small amount of the active ingredient.

Thirdly, it is important to remember that it is better not to take Viagra on a full stomach, because plentiful food slows down the absorption of the main ingredient into the blood and weakens the effect of the medicine.

Fourthly, quite often men forget that small drugs start to act immediately after taking them. Viagra is definitely not one of those.
