Benefits & Services
The Full Member category enhances your professional career by connecting you to fellow colleagues and the media.
Membership in CCF provides family scholars with several important benefits:
- Your expert listing will appear in the expert profiles section of our website for media queries.
- Your own work (publications, blogs, op-eds, and media appearances) may be featured via our bi-weekly media briefs, research briefing papers, press releases, and blog.
- Members are routinely reached to provide topic expertise in public media. Our members may also be contacted by our research director, Stephanie Coontz, for assistance in crafting media stories on important topical or thematic events (SCOTUS cases, major legislative initiatives, holidays such as Mother’s Day and Labor Day, etc.).
- Members remain connected to family research and policy news via the CCF listserv and bi-weekly media briefs.
- Members receive access to exclusive YouTube video workshops on topics related to engaging in public scholarship, promoting your work to the media, and more.
CCF Membership is based on a calendar year – Jan. 1 through Dec. 31 – and dues are not prorated. Applicants joining after October 1st will be paid through the following membership year.
