Chien-Yu (Christina) Lin Chien-Yu (Christina) Lin is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, where her research focused on biodegradable biomaterials for orthopedic soft tissue repair, before earning her Ph.D. from UT Austin. Her doctoral research investigated the biomechanics of tissue remodeling in cardiovascular disease and pressure ulcers by integrating experimental mechanics, biological assays, multiscale imaging, and quantitative analysis. Building on this foundation, her current research focuses on computational medical imaging and lung biomechanics, where she develops patient-specific finite element models and image-based optimization methods to infer lung mechanical properties and advance the quantitative assessment of pulmonary disease. chienyulin@utexas.edu
