Title: Advancing personalized medicine: The Dimension Lab at Hospital de Sant Pau

Abstract: I will present the mission of the Dimension Lab at Hospital de Sant Pau, emphasizing its contributions to personalized and advanced medicine. The engineers at Dimension Lab specialize in the creation of anatomical models, advanced surgical planning, and the development of customized medical products, enabling more precise and tailored surgical interventions. To achieve this, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) will be discussed, along with insights into its practical applications and outcomes, highlighting its incorporation into clinical workflows. In addition, I will outline our teaching and research initiatives, which foster continuous professional development and drive advancements for both clinicians and engineers. Finally, I will showcase some of our most recent research projects, paying special attention to those AI-based, and underscoring their impact on medical practice and innovation.
