Congratulations to UEL Fellow Allison Lang & Professor Javier Auyero on their recent essay in Public Books

The essay is titled “What Works: Lessons on Fighting Oppression and Building Power from Across the Globe.” The authors review four recent books on collective action and social change in order to answer the question of when, how, and why collective organizing achieves positive effects for those engaging in this endeavor.
