- As of April 2023, our second psychedelic study (Ibogaine for Combat-Related Mental Health Issues in Special Operations Forces Veterans) is now recruiting!
- As of December 2022, our first psychedelic study (Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy for Prolonged Grief in Bereaved Veteran Family Members) is now recruiting!
- In December of 2021, Dr. Fonzo and Dr. Nemeroff launch The Center for Psychedelic Research and Therapy at UT Austin, the first such center in the state of Texas!
- In December of 2021, Dr. Fonzo is elected as an Associate Member to the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology.
- As of January 2021, the One Mind Study is now recruiting!
- September 1st, 2020: Dr. Fonzo is awarded the One Mind–Baszucki Brain Research Fund Rising Star Research Award!
- As of March 2020, the TRIPP Study is now recruiting!
- October 22nd, 2019: The Brain & Behavior Research Foundation awards Dr. Fonzo the Young Investigator Award, which will fund the TRIPP Study.
- July 18th, 2019: The first participant is enrolled into the REPAIR After Trauma Study!
- November 19th, 2018: Dr. Fonzo moves to Dell Medical School and begins his job as an Assistant Professor. The lab is launched!
