Hi! I’m Emily Anderson, a 2nd year pharmacy student at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy! I grew up in Dallas, TX, and then lived in Chicago, IL for undergrad. Now back in Texas, I joined the lab in May 2024 and have learned so much since then. I really wanted to join Gore’s lab because of her Endocrinology lectures in Pathophysiology last year. As I continue on my pharmacy and research journey, I hope to pursue a pharmacy residency and a clinical career in either an outpatient or inpatient setting. Outside of class and the lab, I enjoy taking dance classes, listening to true crime podcasts, and taking my roommate’s dog on walks!
