This project investigates the development and implementation of the Eloise House. The SAFE Alliance created and administer Eloise House which seeks to provide safe, supportive, and confidential medical assistance to survivors of sexual assault. The goal of Eloise House is to increase access to medical attention, promote agency and survivor decision-making, and provide forensic services by a licensed sexual assault nurse examiner (SANE). The goal of this project is to examine the processes and activities involved in creating a successful community-based SANE program, and craft an evaluation guide to be made available to other SANE programs.
