IDVSA offers local and community-based training (across Texas and the United States) on the ethical use of expert witnesses in criminal, civil, military, and immigration cases that involve gender-based violence. Attendees typically include but are not limited to attorneys, community advocates, law enforcement, mental health professional, medical personnel, and judicial representatives. The training includes both didactic and interactive learning and is grounded in scientific research.
