Registration Questions  


Where do I go to register for the conference?

You can register for this conference on Eventbrite here.

When will I get the links to the conference sessions?

After registering, you will have the zoom links emailed to you just before the conference starts! We will also be including the zoom links on the agenda here on this website. You can find the agenda here.

When I click on the zoom link, why does it ask me for more information? 

In order to properly process CEUs, we need to capture certain information! We will utilize this to send out CEU certificates after the conference to people who qualify. 

You will need to put this information in for each session, and you will receive the direct zoom link to the session immediately after submitting it. 

How much does the conference cost? What about a cost for CEUs? 

We are not charging for this conference, or to receive CEUs for it. The MHTTC and ATTC for Region 6 are funding this conference fully. We are funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA). 

If I clicked “going” on the facebook event, am I registered?

Documents and presentation materials that the presenter would like us to have access to?

Once you go to the Agenda page, you can click the name of the session to get all documents and information about that session.

Where can I go to find information on each speaker?

The Speakers page, where you can click on their name or picture to bring up their bio.

How can I access recordings and materials from this conference after it’s over?

All recordings and materials of the sessions from this conference, with some exceptions, will be available on our site within the following 2-3 weeks.


CEU Questions

How many CEUs will I receive? 

You will receive up to 11 CEUs if you attend all sessions. Different sessions have different CEU amounts, so please check our CEU page for an accurate answer for each individual session.

If you miss a session, you will not receive CEUs for that session. 

When will I receive my CEUs?

CEUs will be processed within the two weeks following the conference. If you have any concerns or questions about receiving your CEUs, you can reach out to our team at southsouthwest@mhttcnetwork.org.

Will you be offering CEUs for credentials other than peer specialists and peer supervisors? 

No. This is a conference for Peer Supporters, by Peer Supporters. We welcome all who want to join, but the content has been specifically curated for the peer support profession. 

Will the CEUs work in my state?  

We have received reciprocity for this event’s CEUs from AR, LA, NM, and OK. If you live outside of these states, you need to check with your credentialing body. 

Are there any ethics specific CEUs?

No.

Who can I contact about whether these CEUs will work for me? 

Your credentialing body. Some credentialing bodies will accept CEUs that are submitted to them for review if the content of the session is relevant enough to your credential. We cannot submit them for you, so you will need to contact your credentialing body. If they ask questions that you are unsure of the answer to, you can forward those to the southsouthwest@mhttcnetwork.org email.
