Molly Baird

Youth Peer Support Panelist

Molly Baird holds the unique perspective of a person who has struggled with severe mental health challenges from an early age, is a trauma survivor and identifies as a person in recovery.  She became a Certified Peer Support Worker in 2013 in Texas and started her career at Community Healthcore where she worked on the ACT team and as a peer lead to assist in developing agency policy on the development of peer support and peer driven services. She also assisted in the development and implementation of The Corner Stone Project-a peer run drop in center.  Molly currently works with transitional aged youth as a CPSW at the University of New Mexico and with New Mexico State University and CYFD as aconsultant in the development and implementation of youth peer support services in New Mexico. She also serves on the board of directors at the Dream Tree Project in Taos New Mexico, an emergency shelter and transitional living program for youth, where she was formerly a client.
