Ricardo Williams is the Peer Services and Consumer Affairs Coordinator for the Louisiana Department of Health –Office of Behavioral Health. Ricardo is responsible for Peer Services and Peer Programs in the State of Louisiana. Ricardo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice and a Master’s degree in Criminal Investigations from Southern University, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Ricardo has worked in a number of roles within mental health for over 11 years before joining the Louisiana Department of Health. Ricardo believes it never too late to start fresh and start a new path.
