Research Interests: Kimi is exploring silver ionic liquid mixtures for olefin/paraffin separations.
Bio: Kimi graduated from the University of Colorado – Boulder in 2017 with a B. S. in Chemical Engineering. While completing her degree, she worked with Dr. Richard Noble to explore thin film composite membranes for water separation. After graduation, Kimi came to The University of Texas at Austin to pursue her Ph.D. in chemical engineering.

Research Interests: I am interested in the application of CO2 capture using Ionic Liquids.
Bio: I am from Lagos, Nigeria and came to the US for college. I graduated from the University of Kansas (KU) in May 2020 with my B.S degree in Chemical Engineering. At KU, I performed research with Dr. Bala Subramaniam at the Center of Environmentally Beneficial Catalysis in the areas of lignin depolymerization using zeolite catalysts and completed my honors thesis in the depolymerization of PET through ozonolysis. After my undergraduate program, I joined UT Austin and I am currently working in the Brennecke Research group of Ionic liquids.
