Prof. José del R. Millán appointed as the new Director of Texas Robotics

We’re excited to announce that Prof. José del R. Millán, core faculty member at Texas Robotics and professor in the Chandra Family Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Texas ECE – UT Austin ECE), has been appointed as the new Director of Texas Robotics 🎉 . A global leader in brain–machine interfaces, neuroengineering, and intelligent systems, Dr. Millán’s work advances adaptive neurotechnologies that empower people with disabilities and expand human–robot interaction.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Prof. Peter Stone for his leadership and extensive contributions to Texas Robotics, which have laid a strong foundation for this next chapter.
