Maya Ylagan

Data Analyst

Maya recently graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BS in Computational Biology and a certificate in Applied Statistical Modeling. She is passionate about developing code because it is creative and modular and can positively impact the lives of others in the clinic. Her research interests include tumor biology, data wrangling, statistics, and computational workflow development and scripting.

Praneeth Sajja

Praneeth is a sophomore in the Canfield Business Honors Program at UT Austin. Praneeth aspires to become an oncologist and wants to pursue roles where he can contribute to healthcare on both individual and structural levels. He is excited to conduct research furthering precision oncology and cancer genomics.

Mahitha Simhambhatla

Mahitha is a freshman Computer Science major at the University of Texas at Austin. She is interested in the application of computational techniques to biological processes in order to deliver treatments to patients faster than before. Mahitha desires to be a researcher in accelerating drug discovery with computational methods.

Anish Singh

Anish is a Computational Biology undergraduate student at the University of Texas at Austin. He is interested in the intersection of technology and medicine with hopes of pushing world-changing ideas forward. Anish dreams of attending medical school where he wants to create a future of precision medicine and increase healthcare accessibility.

Qi Xu

Graduate

Qi is interested in cancer genomics and computational biology.
His research goal involves large-scale genomics data mining, single-cell clustering, and computation workflow development. He also has experience in software and web development contributing to clinical genomics studies.
