Congratulations to Maggie Arrellaga, who will intern with Students of the World, a non-profit organization, in Summer 2011.

Each year Students of the World selects a group of UT students to partner in work with another non-profit and raise awareness about some issue in the world using different forms of social media. The first three weeks of summer are spent in Austin planning and preparing, the next month is then spent capturing footage and recording information in whatever country the issue is, and the next three weeks are spent tidying up and doing post-production in Austin with all of the chapters of Students of the World from other universities.
