Ignite UT Political Power

We are starting a chapter of Ignite here, and it is designed to empower young women and get them involved in politics by urging them to run for office. Our first meeting will be November 15th and we would really love people to get involved — we only have about five members right now! Foreign Service Info Session

Interested in the Foreign Service? Attend a session led by UT’s Diplomat in Residence, Julie Gianelloni Connor.

Her Liberal Arts Session will begin at 2pm on Thursday, November 15, in the Flawn Academic Center, suite 18.  She will run this session as follows:

–2:00-3:00 One hour overview of internships, fellowships, civil service jobs, foreign service jobs (both generalist and specialist)

–3:00-3:30  More info on internships and fellowships

–3:30-4:00  More info on jobs, both civil and foreign service

Students can stay for as long as they like.

Liberal Arts Representative Position Open

I will be resigning from my Liberal Arts Representative position to study abroad during the spring semester and will need a replacement. An application is available for those who are interested.
