Join The Guides of Texas

The Guides of Texas are campus tour guides. We are representatives of the university to prospective students and their families, and our goals as such are:

  • To encourage incredible students from around the world to enroll in and graduate from UT Austin
  • To further the University’s pursuit of a more diverse and accessible campus
  • To provide prospective students with honest information regarding student life at UT Austin
  • To share our own personal stories that have shaped our experience on the Forty Acres

We are currently hiring PAID tour guides who are planning on staying in Austin over the summer. We are seeking individuals who come from all areas of campus with different backgrounds, majors, passions, and stories who want to give back to this university.

We’d love to have y’all come out to one of our information sessions, where you can learn more about what it’s like to be a part of The Guides of Texas and get any of your questions answered. Information sessions will be held on March 3, 4, and 5 at 7:30PM in the Welcome Center.
