The Foundation Scholars Program (FSP) is hiring mentors for the 2022-2023 academic year. FSP Mentors provide leadership and academic mentorship to first-year students in the College of Liberal Arts, as they transition from high school to UT Austin. Please see attached for the FSP Mentor position description. When able, we strongly recommend interested applicants to reach out to our current FSP mentors and kindly request to sit in on a FSP committee meeting.
To qualify to be an FSP Mentor, you must:
- have a minimum 2.75 GPA(Spring 2022)
- be a currently enrolled student at UT Austin
- must be available Fridays at 9am for required weekly mentor training
- must be available and enrolled in at least 12 hours in the Fall 22 and Spring 23 semesters (if you are participating in Study Abroad during any of these semesters, you can’t apply to be a mentor)

Attending info session is REQUIRED for a completed application.
