Embedded Scholars 2025 Fellowships
The Embedded Scholars Program has opened its 2025 Fellowship Application focused on democratic and constitutional development in Latin America, Eurasia, and the Balkans. This is a funded international internship open to undergraduate and graduate students from any major at UT.
The program provides unparalleled opportunities for students interested in democracy to work with the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance in Latin America and the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs in Eurasia and the Balkans. Students receive training at UT in the spring before going abroad for the summer to support democracy assistance programs and conduct original research.
Join us for an information session and coffee on October 15, 2024, from 12:30-1:30pm, in BAT 5.108 or on Zoom. Program directors and prior fellows will share more about the program and fellows’ work in the field.
Applications are due December 1, 2024 and can be found here. For more information, visit the links above or contact Ashley Moran (ashleymoran@utexas.edu) and Zachary Elkins (zelkins@austin.utexas.edu) with any questions.
