Plan II HRC Event

In partnership with the Michener Center for Writers and the Harry Ransom Center, Plan II’s Glickman Lectureship presents a reading with the Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Carl Phillips. Phillips will read from his 2024 collection, Scattered Snows, to the North. The reading will be followed by a conversation with the poet Jennifer Elise Foerster and an audience Q&A. A book signing and reception will take place immediately after.

LAH 340L: Legal Internships (FALL)

Explore the role of lawyers and how the practice of law has shaped American society. Intern in law offices or legal settings. Gain practical experience and first-hand knowledge of different legal fields. Internships help shape classroom discussions. Examine the practice of law and how lawyers serve the public interest and larger society The equivalent of three lecture hours a week for one semester with an addition 9-10 internship hours a week for one semester. This class is designed to have an experiential learning component.

This course has a two-step application process. The application deadline is September 4th, 2025 at noon. Start the application by completing Part I of the application using the link here. Once Part I has been approved, you will be emailed Part II. The second part of the application includes a learning agreement to be filled out electronically by you and your internship supervisor. Once you have completed both Parts I and II, LAH advisors will manually add you to the course.
