University Co-op Career Success Internship
Are you looking to gain internship experience and build your resume? Consider applying for the University Co-op Career Success Internship!
The University Co-op Career Success Internship is an internship program offering undergraduates the opportunity to gain career experience and grow in a professional environment. This internship program has two components: an internship course in spring 2025 (ALD 118C), and a year-long* paid internship in a co-op department that best aligns with their career goals and departmental needs. Internships are offered in all departments at the Co-op including Textbooks, Finance, Buying, Operations, Marketing, IT, and more.
Students can apply if they:
- Are undergraduate students who have accumulated 24-90 in-residence hours
- Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher
This program is open to all majors. First-gen students are especially encouraged to apply!

WiSTEM Winter Externship
The WiSTEM Externship is a virtual learning experience for STEM undergraduate students to gain career skills and earn digital badges or microcredentials during the winter or summer break. The WiSTEM Externship is designed to give you credentialed accomplishments for your resume, talking points for interviews, confidence in your professional skills, and training/knowledge/learning to advance your STEM skillset.
WiSTEM offers two Externship learning plan options…
- Externship: STEM Career Success Skills with 5 learning modules:
- Explorations in Mindfulness
- Design Thinking Practitioner
- Data Science 101
- Professional Skills
- Job Application Essentials
2. Externship: Artificial Intelligence and Semiconductors with 3 learning modules:
- Artificial Intelligence Fundamentals
- Agile Explorer

Undergraduate Research Symposium
The UT Senate of College Councils is hosting a research symposium on Tuesday, November 19th from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Shirley Perry Ballroom in the Texas Union. The event will consist of talks from first generation researchers who will present their research journeys and provide advice to students that are interested in doing the same. The second half of the event will be a poster board showcase where researchers can present their projects and/or have one-on-one conversations with prospective researchers. This event is open to all majors and backgrounds.

Legislative and Government Affairs Internship Fair
Mark your calendars for the Fall 2024 Legislative & Government Affairs Internship Fair on November 14, 2024! The fair will be co-hosted by Texas Politics Project, Liberal Arts Career Services, LBJ School of Public Affairs, and UT Law. Connect with organizations recruiting for post-graduate and internship positions. The fair is a come-and-go event, so feel free to stop by in between classes. Professional attire is recommended.

Texas Undergraduate Research Journal
Do you want to publish your research work as an undergraduate student? If so, consider submitting your research publication to the Texas Undergraduate Research Journal, an interdisciplinary, UT-based research journal dedicated to publishing undergraduate work. Students can submit their materials through the Texas URJ application until January 13th at 11:59 pm. Additionally, our previous volumes are available at the following link.

TJIA seeks to publish works that engage with and question new and established topics within the realm of International Affairs.
