Jennifer Winkelman is the Senior Outreach Program Coordinator for the Innovative Healing Centered Projects (HCPs) team with the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health (TIEMH). In her role with the Innovative Healing Centered Projects (HCPs) team, Jen will be responsible for contract management and implementation, communication with contracted community organizations, and developing narrative reports and communications for the state agency funder. She has an MBA in mission-driven management from the Heller School of Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University and a BA in Political Science from Northeastern University. Jen has extensive higher education experience, most recently working in the College of Liberal Arts with Innovations for Peace and Development, an initiative with the Government Department. Jen first started at UT Austin in 2007, where she served as the director of admissions and recruiting for the Canfield Business Honors Program. Working closely with the program’s corporate sponsors, she parlayed that experience to join the McCombs Corporate & Foundation Relations team in 2010, where she managed a portfolio of more than 40 corporate partners engaging with the business school. From 2012-2019, Jennifer managed the Constituent Relations team at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she worked closely with alumni, donors and corporate sponsors to create high-touch engagement events in Boston, New York City, and other major US cities.
