Lauren Rosa is a Project Manager at TIEMH. In this role, she collaborates with University of Texas System and other health related institutions across the state evaluating the Texas Child Health Access through Telemedicine (TCHATT) program along with other mental health access programs. Previously, Rosa worked for the Texas Legislature as the Legislative Director for a state representative where she engaged with constituents from her hometown, Mission, TX, provided policy recommendations and moved bills through the legislative process. As a graduate research assistant for the Institute for Organizational Excellence, another institute in the Steve Hicks School of Social Work, Rosa worked with state agencies and public institutions to assess employee satisfaction and engagement by collecting survey data and conducting focus groups. She earned a BSA in Human Development and Family Sciences and a Master of Science in Social Work with a concentration on Administration and Policy Practice and certificate in school-based social work practice both from the University of Texas at Austin . Rosa is interested in the children’s mental health research as well as evaluation of social service systems at the state and federal level.
