Rebecca P. Johnson, MA, LCPC (she/her) received her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adler University and a Master’s in Women and Gender studies from DePaul University. Rebecca is a licensed counselor with several years of experience working directly with transition age youth and emerging adults with serious mental health conditions and managing a youth advisory board. Rebecca’s current work revolves around intervention research with youth and young adults, where she oversees translation of knowledge into program manuals and toolkits, useful dashboards, reports, journal manuscripts, conference presentations, and workforce development tools. Rebecca is a strong advocate for incorporating youth voice and voices of folks with lived and living experience into all of her work. Rebecca lives in Chicago with her family and enjoys going to the beach, spending time with friends and family, and traveling.
