Dr. Jah’s recent contributions to the Institute for Computational Engineering and Sciences (ICES) and his recent success funding projects in ICES have earned him membership to the ICES Core Faculty. The core faculty are those ICES faculty that are most deeply involved in ICES. They also have full access to ICES resources and programs. For example, ICES core faculty are members of the Computational Sciences, Engineering and Mathematics Graduate Studies Committee (CSEM), and therefore are eligible to advise CSEM students. They are also eligible to mentor recipients of ICES Postdoctoral Fellowships, host visitors under the ICES Visitor Program, receive ICES computer and staff support and receive priority HPC allocations on Lonestar at TACC.
