Quỳnh-Hương Nguyễn (She, They, Chi, Chanh) earned a degree in Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from Dominican University and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) focused on Student Affairs in Higher Education from Texas State University. Their research and academic focus is on identity development and the mental health experiences within the Queer and Asian communities. Their goal to provide intersectional and intentional educational opportunities for everyone to make spaces more affirming for people of color, queer, people with disabilities, and other marginalized identities. Additionally, they intentionally use intersectional research, compassion, and storytelling to foster and develop best practices to center, uplift, and liberate the voices of most marginalized communities. Sidenote, they are a Taurus and love using dry humor, sharing memes, boba tea, and food to build solidarity and connect with others.
