Mission
The mission of the Society is to encourage and recognize excellence in intellectual achievement and foster fellowship among its members. Further, the Society encourages high standards of conduct and character, and advocates critical inquiry in all aspects of pharmacy.
Objectives
The fundamental objective of Rho Chi has always been to promote the advancement of the pharmaceutical sciences through the encouragement and recognition of sound scholarships. High standards of intellectual and scholarly attainments are demanded for election to membership. Such election, symbolized by the award of the Rho Chi key, supplies a unique scholarship incentive.
Our Initiatives
- P1 Survival Guide and Study Skills presentation for NSO
- Service events vary each year but focus on providing service to the Austin/San Antonio community or assisting with fundraising events for charity groups.
- Production of new educational materials to focus on areas of student pharmacist impact in the education of the public.
- Workshops to promote intellectual leaders and connect students to alumni.
