U.S. News ranks Nurse Practitioners as #2 and RNs # 22 in The 100 Best Jobs for 2017

According to the U.S. News report, Nurse Practitioners have the 2nd best job for 2017. The Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that by 2024 the Nurse Practitioner demand will grow by 35 percent.  This is 5 times the national average for all occupations.  Median salary?  $98,190.

Registered nurses hit the list at #22.  The Bureau of Labor Statistics expects a 16% growth rate by 2024.  Median salary?  $67,490.
