Baptist Health is now accepting applications for its RN Residency program for its October cohort.
Graduates will work closely with a Clinical Coach during the 12-month program. This includes classroom settings & on the-floor application with oversight by a team of master clinical coaches & educators.
Twelve weeks of service-line orientation, foundational residency curriculum & clinical unit orientation. The first 10 weeks will consist of approximately one 8-hour shift, & two 12-hour shifts for a total of up to 40 hours/week. After that, residents may move to night shift if that is their permanent shift, but will still attend a 4-hour core course for the remainder of the year.
Core curriculum is focused on: leadership, patient quality outcomes, safety, patient satisfaction, & the advancement of nursing knowledge & experience.
The residency will be 12 months in length. During this time, participants must be flexible in scheduling. Participants will be asked for a two-year commitment to Baptist Health after the completion of the 12-month program.
If you have not graduated yet, you are still eligible to apply and interview, as long as you pass your NCLEX by July 2, 2018.
