Dr. Phillip W. Schnarrs, Associate Professor of Community-Based Participatory Research in the Department of Population Health at Dell Medical School is actively recruiting undergraduate research assistants to work with his research team. Dr. Schnarrs’ work focuses on areas of LGBTQ+ health, including mental health, resilience, substance use disorder, HIV treatment research, over multiple cities in Texas.
Undergraduate research assistants will have the opportunity to work on a variety of research projects, and will be involved with the recruitment of research study participants, marketing of research projects within the community, and have an opportunity to learn valuable research skills.
5-10 hours per week required commitment, in addition to a once-a-semester, all-call team meeting and monthly meetings with their respective project leads.
