Nurse residents are required to be licensed prior to their start date. Residents that can provide official documentation of successful NCLEX results and pending application for TN RN licensure (or a state that is part of the enhanced nurse licensure compact) will be considered eligible to start (see FAQ’s for more information).
As a new nurse, we will guide your transition to professional practice by supporting your orientation and ongoing professional development needs. Throughout the year you will focus on delegation and time management, patient engagement, diversity, nursing quality and safety, research and evidence-based practice, ethical decision making, and building your own emotional toolkit.
Choose your starting destination from these different track options.
