Enter Texas Health Catalyst’s Research4Impact Competition to win a $5000 prize.
The competition is open to all current University of Texas at Austin students (graduate & undergraduate) and post-docs.

Enter this competition presented by Texas Health Catalyst at Dell Medical School for a chance to win the Research4Impact Prize. The winner will receive $5000 for their UT lab and will also be showcased on Dell Med and UT Media channels.

How it works:
Five participants will be selected to advance to the final presentation day on March 24th at 3 PM. Finalists will pitch their research project to our panel of judges. This panel will include both clinical and industry experts.
The judges will select one team as the Texas Health Catalyst Research4Impact prize winner to receive $5000 for their lab. The second and third prize winners will receive $1000 and $500 for their labs, respectively. The fourth and fifth prize winners will receive $250 each. All finalists will receive certificates of participation.
Before applying, please mark your calendars to make sure you are available to attend the final pitch if you are selected as one of the five finalists.
Eligibility:
Students currently enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin (graduate & undergraduate) and UT Austin postdocs can apply. Students must be engaged in research at a UT Austin lab and have approval from their lab’s Primary Investigator (PI)/Faculty Supervisor in order to participate.
Students are welcome to apply individually or as teams.
Judging Criteria:
Projects will be evaluated based on one single criterion – The potential to make a significant impact on health or healthcare.
