The Spectrum of Post-COVID Health Issues

Please join us Thursday for the next virtual town hall for the Travis County medical community, presented by the Travis County Medical Society (TCMS) and Dell Medical School.
The expert panel will discuss the growing body of evidence and practice related to the chronic condition known as Post-COVID Syndrome, which affects adults and children – known as “long haulers” – who haven’t fully recovered weeks or even months after contracting the virus. Questions from the audience will be taken in advance and in real time during the event.
Panelists include Dell Med faculty members Coburn Allen, M.D., associate professor of Pediatrics; Esther Melamed, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor of Neurology; and Rama Thyagarajan, M.D., assistant professor of Internal Medicine.
The event will be moderated by Dell Med Dean Clay Johnston, M.D., Ph.D., and TCMS President John Abikhaled, M.D.
